The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.
SASSA might be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed about the significant quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The services place made for intervention activities a substantial influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to help the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
